Flesh & Bone
(Working title...)
Flesh & Bone is the universe where Mary and Agnes live. There's not much in the way of non-backstory story, so it's pretty silly... Rather, they're "mascots" of sorts, especially Mary. She's my favorite.

Setting
A boring city where people won't spare each other a second glance. Bodies have been turning up for a while - all unidentified. No one knows where they come from; no one seems to remember the victims ever existing. Investigating is a headache. Sitting still goes unpunished.
A lonely man goes for a walk in the dead of night. An odd-looking woman follows from a distance.

Mary is a 24 year old convenience store clerk with strange ideas of what the ideal relationship entails.

Agnes is a 27 year old community college ethics teacher who wishes he was dead.

Mary's family
Mary grew up in a religious household, where she was expected to conform to rigid standards of femininity, and the expectations that came with it. Particularly, she was to get married as soon as possible, and to never express any desires that were deemed "un-ladylike" or "deviant".
Nowadays, Mary has cut off contact with her entire family. In fact, they don't even know she exists!
Agnes's family
Agnes has very little contact with his family, all through his own volition. There was no big fight, no one reason to self-isolate; just the desire to be left alone permanently.
Maybe it was the sickness, pushing everyone away. Maybe it was the guilt from wanting to die so badly. Either way, he's unreachable.
Inspiration
I really just wanted something to appeal to my own niche of a sadistic, perverted woman, and a masochistic, almost as perverted man. I made them for each other, and they're my most self-indulgent characters.
Mary is my favorite character by far. Most of what I draw is just scribbles of her. Agnes probably comes second (by a lot), since he's her boyfriend/toy.
As previously stated, there is no real storyline to them outside of backstory stuff. Most of what I draw/write takes places after they've met and started dating already.
